1. Fill an LWML mite box with coins. Pick up a box on the back counter. The Service Guild will let you know when it's time to turn it in. 2. Bring in manufacturers coupons for the VFW. You don't even have to cut them out. Just drop them into the box on the collection table. It's that simple. 3. Buy greeting cards from Velma. Fifty cents paid for each item goes to help provide food for the orphans at Bright Star School in Nairobi, Kenya. 4. Prescription eyeglasses are collected on behalf of the Lions Club and Hands of Mercy. 5. Hand in
Campbell labels to help
provide funds for Shepherd's Lambs Day Care and Preschool. Click
this link to see which
labels are needed. 7. The pull tabs on soda cans are being collected for Riley Children's Hospital. Break them off the cans before you recycle your cans and put the tabs in the container on the collection table. 8. We recycle aluminum soda cans too! Put them in the white waste bin in the kitchen. We get money for them! 9. Recycle your printer cartridges, protect our environment, and help us earn money at Staples to pay for the church's office supplies. Bring in your used cartridges and put them in the basket on the collection table. 10. Stamps! One of the Service Guild's projects is to collect cancelled stamps for LWML. Each stamp needs 1/4 inch around the edge. But you don't need to bother cutting them out. We'll do that. We just need your stamps. 11. Got some loose change in the bottom of your purse or in your pants pocket? Isn't it getting heavy? Relieve yourself of that heavy burden by dropping your coins in the jar on the back counter. It will be used to support our local charities.
