Good Shepherd Lutheran Church operates Shepherd's Lambs Early Childhood Ministry in order to teach children the love of God and to provide quality childcare and education as a service to the parents in our community.

Our Preschool and Day Care are collecting Campbell's soup labels this school year to obtain some free materials.  In addition to soup labels, there are many other labels that can be collected.  Please pick up a copy of the entire list and place the labels in the Campbell's soup label container at the Day Care.  Ask your friends and family to collect for us too!

Daily Practices at Our Day Care

+Prayers are said at meals, snacks, and nap time.
+Weekly chapel time in the church sanctuary is led by Pastor Bohlmann.
+"Sharing Time" for children ages 4 and up allows children to share their lives with others.
+Celebrations of special events, such as birthdays are always a fun time.
+Arts and Crafts time gives the children an opportunity to learn basic art skills and to be creative.
+Singing praises is encouraged during our music time.
+Safe outdoor activity is provided when the weather permits.

6 weeks - 18 mos. $160/wk
18 mos. - 3 yrs. (not potty trained) $150/wk
3 yrs. - 5 yrs. (potty trained)* $125/wk
Pre/Post Kindercare** $75/wk


*Includes preschool and Pre-K for those who are 3 or 4 years old by July 1st.
**Parents must furnish transportation to and from school.

     2 days per week

$50/mo.
         
Pre-Kindergarten Only
      5 days per week		 $125/mo.

$75/year supplies fee covers all materials and curriculum needed for the year.
Supplies fee is charged to all students, but tuition is only for those not attending daycare.

Enrollment:

 

 

 Open to everyone.  Shepherd's Lambs admits students of every race, sex, color, national and ethnic origin.  Each child must have a current immunization record turned in with enrollment application.  These forms are available in the school office.
 
Lunches:
 		 Children enrolled in daycare must bring a sack lunch that can be refrigerated or microwaved.  Milk and snacks are provided.

 

Church Discount Rate:  LCMS families who commit to worship or attend Sunday School at least 3 weeks out of the month qualify for a 25% discount on tuition for both school and day care.  Non-LCMS families who commit to worship at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at least 2 Sundays per month qualify for a 15% discount.

We have joined Meijer Community Rewards, which allows us to raise funds quickly and easily.  Here's how you can participate:  join Meijer Community Rewards by picking up an application on the back table, filling it out, and mailing it to the address on the form or go online at www.meijer.com/rewards.  Our organization's code number is 336728 and we're registered as "Shepherds Lambs ECM."  If you already have a Meijer credit card, just call 1-800-962-7011 to join.  Then simply swipe your card at the register whenever you shop at Meijer.  You do not have to charge your purchases but you must swipe the card and inform the cashier you're paying by check or cash.  Use this card for food, clothing, toys, home accessories, and more!  Our Day Care/Preschool will automatically receive a percentage of your purchase totals.  Thanks for helping support us!
