Care Package for Major
Brunkalla
Cheryl
is putting together care packages for the troops in Iraq. All donated items will be
appreciated. Specific requests have been made for shaving cream,
razors, and snacks. Bring the items to the church and Cheryl will
box them off to Iraq.
Kids Helping Kids
The children
at Shepherd's Lambs Preschool donate their chapel offerings to sponsor
Nelson Okoth, an orphan who lives in the dormitory at Bright Star School
in the Fuata Nyayo slum of Nairobi, Kenya. 
Day
Care
Our Preschool and Day Care
children are
collecting Campbell's soup labels this school year to obtain some free
school materials. In addition to soup labels, there are many other labels
that can be collected. Please pick up a copy of the entire list
and place the labels in the Campbell's soup label container on the back
counter. Ask your friends and family to collect for us
too!
Recycling
Please help
our environment and earn money for our church by bringing in your used
inkjet cartridges, laser toner cartridges (except Epson), and old cell phones.
Put your used cartridge in the
box your new one came in or put it in a Zip-lock bag and place it in the
collection box at church. After we've collected 20-25 cartridges,
we will ship them for FREE to Christian Fund Raising, Inc. for
reimbursement. Each box we send brings in more than $100. Ask your friends and family to save them for
you. This is an easy way to raise funds for the church at no cost
to us and a great way to eliminate some of our refuse.
