Projects

Galatians 6:2  - "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."

These tough times give us a great opportunity to share our blessings.
Good Shepherd is supporting the following projects:

LWML Mite boxes Grab a box from the back counter and drop your spare change in it.  The Service Guild will then ask you to bring the box during a special worship service.
Aluminum cans Put your aluminum cans in the plastic bin in the kitchen.  Pastor turns the cans in for cash.  That money is used for church needs.
Greeting cards Velma will take your greeting card order and will deliver the cards to you.  All profit is used to support Bright Star School, Nairobi, Kenya.
Campbell's labels Shepherd's Lambs Daycare and Preschool collects Campbell's food labels to get educational materials.  Put your labels in the tub on the back counter.
Aluminum pull tabs Pull the tabs off your aluminum cans and place them in the container on the back table.  Tabs will be sent to Riley Children's Hospital to fund projects for the children.
Cancelled postage stamps The Service Guild is collecting postage stamps for LWML.  Put your cancelled stamps in the box on the back table.
Prescription eyeglasses Put your unused eyeglasses in the basket on the back table.  The Lion's Club will get them to those who could not afford to buy eyeglasses.
Box Tops for Education Save your Box Tops for Education symbols for Redeemer Lutheran School's project.
Manufacturers' coupons The VFW collects the coupons and gets face value for the coupons.  Money raised will help VFW projects.  Put your coupons in the box on the back table.
Used printer cartridges Bring in used and unwanted printer cartridges and put them in the basket on the back table.  The cartridges will be recycled by Staples and $3/cartridge will be deposited into our office supply account.
Loose change Do you have a heavy purse or pocket?  Are you loaded down with an abundance of coins?  Solution - put the coins in the plastic container on the back counter.  Our goal is $50 for Coordinated Assistance Ministries.
